In September 2011, I worked with CirQlar to do a commercial event called Energizer Night Race in two cities.

About 2000 runners ran a marathon in each city. For Toronto and Montreal CirQlar did the music and visuals on their special screen. I delivered high-quality visuals that were on-strategy for the marketing team and event promoters.

My friend Theo also helped with animation this time. He animated the Energizer bunny in some of the loops we made. My friend Svebor (VJ Protocobb) helped out a lot too. He drove the DJ all the way from Montreal to North Bay for his set at Harvest Festival the same night.

It was definitely interesting doing a commercial project for once. We proved that VJ sets can be used for marketing purposes as well.
